Will India-Pakistan series finally happen after T20 World Cup? PCB took this important step

New Delhi: Relations between India and Pakistan are always always bad. This is the reason that no series of cricket has been played between these two countries for the last 9 years. These two teams come against each other only in ICC tournaments. But now a hand of friendship has been extended by the PCB.

Bonding PCB

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) President Rameez Raja has stressed on the need to revive the sporting ties between India and Pakistan. He said that the time has come to improve the ties of the most favorite sport between the two countries and the first sport to showcase the competition between the two cricketing stalwarts should be held. Raja said that the PCB and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) should create a cricketing bond keeping politics out of the game.

Sourav Ganguly met

Rameez said, ‘I met BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and Secretary Jay Shah on the sidelines of the ACC (Asia Cricket Council) meetings. We need to create a cricketing bond, while I also believe that politics should be kept away from the game as much as possible and this has always been our stand. “A lot of work needs to be done to revive Pakistan-India cricket, but there should be some level of comfort between the two borders and then we can see how far we can go,” he said.

attempt to settle

Raja said that the ACC was formed on the basis of creating a unified approach and collective approach so that everyone’s issues can be resolved by talking to each other. Both the sides are set to take on each other in the upcoming T20 World Cup, which is expected to be one of the biggest cricket matches of the tournament. Pakistan is struggling to get international cricket back on its ground due to the security situation of the country. Recently, New Zealand and England canceled their tours of Pakistan citing similar security reasons.
