Seminar on corona and healthy lifestyle held at Shambhunath Institute – Times of India


PRAYAGRAJ: Unit of Arogya Bharti Kashi Prant organised a seminar on the topic ‘Corona management and healthy lifestyle’, at Shambhunath Institute of Technology and Science, Jhalwa, on Wednesday.

In his inaugural speech, national organisation secretary of Arogya Bharti, Dr Ashok Kumar Varshney clarified that the innovative experiments done in the Corona pandemic have led to an unprecedented increase in the popularity of our oldest medical system Ayurveda. “You should increase your immunity by following our ancient medical system and it is necessary to adopt a healthy lifestyle while remaining stress free as stress reduces the immunity of the body”, he said.

Expressing his views as a special guest, Prof (Dr) GS Tomar, former principal of Government Ayurveda College, Handia, and president of Vishwa Ayurveda Mission, said that the corona pandemic has affected all the developed, developing and underdeveloped countries equally. Countries famous for their developed technology and effective health services have also succumbed to Corona. At the same time, our ancient heritage Ayurveda has set a new record of popularity on the global map on the strength of its popularity.

He added that the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, through its advisory publicised many effective medicines for corona control and treatment like Ayush Kwath, Ayush-64, Giloyghanvati etc. Diet, ethics and medicine are three means specified in Ayurveda, by the adherence of which we can not only cope with infectious epidemics like corona, but can also successfully treat chronic and serious diseases caused by faulty lifestyle.

Arogya Bharati (eastern UP convenor) Govind ji while highlighting the objectives of Arogya Bharti, said that the attainment of these four Purusharthas, Dharma Artha Kama Moksha, is possible only through health, for which since 2002, we are constantly striving to make people aware of health.

In his presidential address, secretary, Utthan, KK Tiwari said that after being free from corona infection, a person can suffer from physical and mental weakness for a long time. To return to a healthy and active lifestyle, such individuals must adopt a balanced diet and lifestyle. He also informed about the achievements of the institution in the field of education.
