Money Laundering Case: Film actress Jacqueline Fernandez had appeared at the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) Delhi office for questioning. Jacqueline has now left the ED office after appearing in a money laundering case. It is being told that the alleged thug had appeared before the ED in connection with the investigation of Rs 200 crore money laundering case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
Earlier, the ED had summoned Jacqueline to appear in the Delhi office on October 16. At that time, Jacqueline had expressed her inability to appear in the ED office due to personal reasons. After which the ED asked her to appear on October 18 and record her statement, even after which she did not appear before the ED. At present, she has recorded her statement by reaching the ED office in Delhi on Wednesday.
At present, actress Nora Fatehi had recorded her statement in this case on Thursday. Her representative said, “Nora Fatehi is the victim and witness around this case, she is cooperating and helping the authorities in the investigation.”

In fact, the ED was trying to answer questions from Jacqueline Fernandez in connection with the ongoing money laundering investigation against alleged thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar. In this case, Jacqueline has appeared before the ED once in August and has recorded her statement under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
According to sources, the ED wants Jacqueline to face-to-face with Chandrashekhar and his actress wife Leena Maria Paul. Officials in the case say that the investigating agency wants to understand the money transaction, which is allegedly related to Fernandez.
In August, the ED raided Chandrasekhar’s premises and seized a bungalow, Rs 82.5 lakh in cash and dozens of luxury cars in Chennai. He had claimed in a statement that Chandrashekhar was a “known thug” and was being probed by the Delhi Police for alleged criminal conspiracy, extortion and cheating of Rs 200 crore.
