AP EAPCET Engineering stream results announced – Times of India


VIJAYAWADA: A total of 80.62 percent students who appeared for the engineering stream of Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET-2021) got qualified in the examination. Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh released the EAPCET-2021 Engineering stream results here on Wednesday.

O U Sri Nikhil from Anantapur secured the first rank and Varadha Mahanth Naidu,Rajam, Srikakulam secured second rank. No girl student secured place in top ten ranks.

Out of 1,66,460 students who appeared for the Engineering stream exam, 1,34,205 students got qualified with 80.62%.

Though the number of students who qualified in examinations increased slightly, the overall pass percentage came down by three percent each year. A total of 1,33,066 students qualified the exam in 2020 and pass percentage is 84%

Adimulapu Suresh explaining the details of the examinations said,”Despite Covid-29 JNTU Kakinada conducted the examination successfully. Exams were held for five days from 19 August 2021 to 25 August. The examination is completely conducted in online mode, strictly following the Covid-19 guidelines. The examination is conducted at 120 centers in which 3 centers are located in Telangana.”

The examination is conducted in10 sessions for Engineering stream, 15 sessions for Pharmacy and Agriculture stream., he said.

Minister asked the students to leave apprehensions on the questions paper and evaluation system.” We have implemented a normalisation process which makes every question paper equally tough. Similar thing is followed while announcing the results,” Suresh said.

Students can download the rank cards from Thursday. Agriculture and Pharmacy results on 14 September.
